I am interested in some feedback on this image. I was captivated by the amazing reflections on the water and the mallard was shining so brightly in the sun. Comments/critiques are requested so I can learn. Thanks :~)
I love it! I forgot to ask what the reflections are from? Flowers on the shoreline?
Beautiful. I love that I can see the details of the feathers on the tummy!

Great shot, Mimi - tremendous detail on the duck, and the primary-colour reflections are not what you expect to see on a nature shot! Did you try any without the duck, focussing on the reflections? I'd think you might have got some interesting "found abstracts" from that.... Nice work :-)
Beautiful wallpaper Mimi. Agree with Simon that the bolder color reflections are the unique addition to this beautiful clear shot of the duck. So glad this one came in for a landing. ;)
what a cute little mallard :) the little fellow himself could make an excellent photo.. excellent details on this one! i must say, it seems to me like he's smiling :)
excellent lightning, too.. and the reflections.. i love those red and yellow coloured ripples :) i bet those tulips look wonderful, too.. but i'm impressed with the way you had managed to capture the nature playing with the colours :)
thank you for sharing this gorgeous work! enjoy your day :)
I can't think of any tips to give you...love this just as it is...beautiful capture of the hues of the duck and the reflections in the water...great job, Mimi.:Pat.
Hi Mimi, I just adore this image!!! WOW, you are really good at this color treatment!! The colors are awesome!! I offer to you my big 10's and into my favs!! The clarity here is amazing! Fine work my dear! Sincerely, Marilyn
This is gorgeous. A lovely capture of a Mallard Duck. Very good job. You and June should get together and do an album on water fowl. ;) 10 from me buddy. Sarah :)
very lovely shot...i have to say though at first glance it looked like gas on the water...pretty none the less but I was like ahhh then oh nm....haha nice job 9/10
The colors, I think (humbly), are a little distracting. the pretty green on the ducks head is rather lost in the confussion of the reflections. They do make it unique and something different but I wish it wasn't so overtaking of what I feel is the main focal point.
Hi Ashley...thanks for the comments you left on ~reflections~. I was concerned about the "busyness" of the image. In person, it was quite eye-catching. I love to learn more things about photography. Thank you for being part of my lesson :~)
Awsome lighting, colors, details and reflections. Mallards may be common but they have some of the prettiest colors on their heads when caught in just the right lighting.
This is a lovely photo...the colors are vivid and good clarity...I like the colors in the water...ver pretty! Great job! p.s. At least we have the same kind of ducks! Dianna
Beautiful. I love that I can see the details of the feathers on the tummy!
