Yes, this is the first time I have ever seen the inside of a Ladies Room. Very interesting, although I would have thought the wash basins would have been pink! lol.

Very nice examples of Art Deco, Doug :) Excellent control of the lighting in both images.
Obviously ladies do just go the the Ladies Room to 'wash their hands and powder their noses' whereas it seems the men have other matters to attend to, and with very little privacy :)

Posh place....looks much better than a lot of places I seen....(Errr...in museums and such!..)

Imagine the gossip that goes on in those place eh!......

Yes I bet there some great story's hidden with in that room and how smart it looks to.You caotured this scene very nicely and you captured the detail and light perfectly ,You sure this is not a gossip room as i have by accident walked in one by mistake and it was full of lady's paired up just chatting lol.

I love this shot Doug!!! The Art Deco period is my all time favorite design genre. The lighting is fantastic - the design of the sinks, the floor and the mirrors are right out of the era - or in it!!! You did a stellar job in capturing this room for all to see. Excellent!!!!!

In the first place I would like to ask you a question how you managed to enter this room... If in female disguise, it is just OK. :)
Otherwise the place is spotless and nice but the atmosphere would be rather not favouring exchange of any frivolous gossip - at least for me it is too classy for that purpose, if you know what I mean. OK, I go and check the men's room and continue with my line of thinking if you care to hear more from me :)

I'm glad you remembered to mention it was closed to the public or I might suddenly have a different impression of you, Doug, lol...again, very attractive designing here and emphasis on the flooring, wash basins, and mirrors...hmmm, didn't see any wash basins in the mens' room...another interesting and amusing shot.

I have been in the washrooms at Radio city before - the lighting is so much more flattering here! They both certainly have the Art Deco design elements.

You can't beat a bit of Art Deco for dramatic photo's. It's probably because the designers were given a free hand to introduce their ideas into such mundane areas such as this and this photo exemplifies this. Excellent stuff!!
As an aside, I think this would look really good in B&W.

its a no wonder they're in there so long powdering their nose? i never did understand that term..other then when more then one go inside there together?...your most likely to be in trouble as they figure out a plan..lol!

im glad im married and those days are gone..then again i stay in trouble all the time. this is cool a shot coming from one of the fellows! now we men have a good look at thier hangout :)

Nice Doug. I've just discovered these two politically correct posts. I love that the women apparently have a little foot controlled spot light at each sink station. Oh, wait... those are hand dryers with a volume control or little wah-wah pedals. :)
