We found this little butterfly enjoying his lunch while we enjoyed ours in Hendersonville, NC You can see the Blue Ridge Mountains in the backgound. You can see how they got their name! I used an Olympus Superzoom 35mm on 400 film. And he let me take half a roll before he left.

I too have emptied my camera while chasing these lovely creatures. You ended up with a wonderful composition with plenty of the surrounding environment so we can see what the butterfly is doing, and that’s a little unusual. I like it.
