This was taken on the grounds of the Fountain of Youth in St Augustine, FL. where Ponce de Leon landed in 1513. This is near the oldest mission in the US. White peacocks were originally bred to live on temple grounds. I took this with my new Kodak Z740. will be posting others soon.

Nice shot of this unusual bird. I have never seen a white peacock. Now if you could just get him to pose against a darker background it would really show off those beautiful feathers.

Friends are like shining stars. You may not always see them, but you know they are always there for you.

Neither do I've seen a white peacock :O It's amazing. There are like 6 colored peackocks at my university [walking around the whole campus] so I kind of like these animals haha. But this picture is amazing!

Outstanding capture Richard! I haven't ever had the pleasure of seeing a white peacock much less in full furl. High marks and very, very well done!

I am still extremely busy with projects but hopefully things should slow down by the end of the summer. Please know that I appreciate you all and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends. Sincerely, Carrie
