Commonly known as the Giraffe.Bulls are between 3.9m - 5.2m tall and the cows 3.7m - 4.7m, weighing 700kg - 950kg (cows) and the bulls, 970kg - 1400kg. They get their name from the Arabic word "xirapha" meaning one that walks fast. Their diet consist of different kinds of trees where they "pull" the small young branches with sucullent leaves into their mouths with lips and tongue (can get up to 45cm long). They spend 15 - 20 hours a day eating. Calves weigh about 100kg at birth and can get up and walk an hour after birth. I love these animals, they are so graciuos when walking, and almost always seem so content and calm, but they can get aggresive and can fight till death if needed.

yes, you are a walking encyclopedia. have you read up on the circulatory system in their necks? It is quite complicated so that when they raise their heads up and down, they don't faint. This is a good head shot that needs to be "photoshopped". It is too dark. I can't the detail on the animals head. Thks for posting and better yet, thks for all the info.

If you love something, set it free. It it comes back to you, it is yours. If it does not, it was never meant to be. Wil
