The last one in this series.. but also the first post with my new camera.. so pardon if it's not as good.. I'm still learning. Found these two enjoying the warm winter sun, when I visited the Botanical Gardens today to try out my new toy (Canon EOS 350D). Thank you for joining me in this series... Hope you've enjoyed it. Thanx for all the comments, suggestions and support for each and everyone.

The last one you say ? ... Bummer. I liked them all and enjoyed them all. This one is no exception. I am curious as to what those two sunbathers are called. Are they Salamanders ?

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

I was disappointed when I heard it was the last in this series. This picture is very good - the quality for me is as good as the others. Usually, I like lizards and their likes, but these, with their long tails, remind me too much of serpents. No offense - just my personal taste. :)

I'm shopping for a new camera also. Don't know what I am going to wind up with yet. I know you must be tickled with your your new one. Good start on the lizards. It's not the most colorful scene though. Find something with a lot of color and give your camera a challenge. I want to see what it will do. Have fun and congrats.

Beautiful shot !! Your new camera is doing the job just great, My son swears by Cannon he as got a Cannon EOS 300D with some great lens. I always have to re size them down such a lot to put onto Caedes, for intstance the Loch Clunie Castle is really a fantastic landscape shot, the castle being much clearer on his original shot. Looking forward to more new shots from you :)

Gosh, you too have the camera I want so much. One day when I can afford it, its the one I'll get. IT seems to be the BEST on the market right now...and this photo of yours sure proves it. I love how you got the shadows so nicely, and I can almost feel the warmth of the sun as it strokes over the little lizards..Very very nice shot..verena
