Another pic of one of my favourite animals.. we drove into a herd of buffalo, about 200 - 300 if I have to take a wild wild guess... when in the Kruger National Park (South Africa). They were really all around us, some as close as 2 -3 meters from the vehicle. This one was coming out of the Mopani Bushes and stopped for me to take his picture. Hope you enjoy him too.. there are a few to come...still looking for one where they smile at me.... :) have a GREAT weekend

Marietha, I think that these fellows just aren't going to cooperate with you. But I'm enjoying them all the same. I like the way you captured this one with the vegetation around him..makes him look a bit softer, even if he is a grumpy gus..lol :)

If this isn't a prime example of "Up close and personal" I don't know what is. The look on that ones face is sheer boredom ... "Say Cheese" ? ... I don't think so. LOL Smile or no smile it's a great capture Marietha.

Boy, that's a great head capture. I don't think I would want to see one with a smile on it's face. It would probably be thinking about running you over. I feel so sorry for these animals as about the only time I ever get to see them, they are in the jaws of a lion being eaten alive.. Good work.
