This is really good my friend. :) I've been waiting for your submission you know! I didn't want to push you though. Every thing has it's time... I like what you did here. I noticed you're one of the few that did one of the first things I thought of when I selected the shot. You made the leaf whole. And you did a great job at it.

I actually made a try at this myself and it's one **** of a job (with my method at least...) I used my resulting whole leaf in my edits "Piked Blues" plus (bouth versions of) "Serrated" but that's impossible to tell I guess. ^_^ That's so typically me I work for hours and don't use the result so it shows.

You have a really great balance in your composition and I love how you use the darkness you love so much in this image. The tree in the background is the final touch for me that really lifts the edit to a whole new dimension. Great work in other words. :D

There's only one small thing I would suggest you change. Two of the tips of the leaf (those on bouth sides on the one on the top or how to put it) are flat. (It looks like you mirrored the leaf cut in half basically. You made a great touch with the lightning (burning tool?) so it's not really obvious apart from this issue I brought up.) If you just add a little tip to these the edit will be perfect. ;-)

Klas, thank u thank u thank u, what u said means a lot to me at this late hour, & yes i did use the burn tool & the mirror & u r also rite about the flat tip, i am aware of it but in the words of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker......"it is....too late for me my son!" but ur words are most appreciated. & thanx for a wicked image to work with all due credit to the man behind the lens.

Mary, my sincere thanx go out to u too, i was pretty nervous about this one to be honest due to the amount of time i spent on it, which is very little, so ur support as always is rock solid. I would've like to have spent some more time on it ironing out those nasty creases.

there is absolutely no need to apologise Klas, what did was the right thing, u made sure that therewere no stones left unturned. if u r gonna do a job do it properly etc, so must thank u for ur persistence.that way we all come out winners, whatever the outcome : )

I do not believe that c-index. Looks like one of those freak things that happens from time to time...

yeah well, i'm quite happy with the image, the c-index is indicative but i only believe it after about a week. : )
