i like this a lot... i was always a sucker for a flower on a dark background... lighting, focus and placement are all good imho...

Lovely lighting in this image. I like how it is just slightly soft in both focus and colors. Great photo all around.

I really like this one too. Especially the composition and lighting. Focussing works out nicely too. Short DOF is usually the way to go for an interesting photo. I'm thinking desaturation of the colors or even to make it in plain grayscale would make the image have even more impact. Perhaps because I expect a ox-eye (?) daisy to have white petals. I don't know. Like usual I could be wrong. ^_^

Gorgeous. Very simple yet dramatic. I would have put the focus just a little bit farther back on the flower, more on the yellow part, but still a delicate picture. Good lighting. 9/10
