Neuschwanstein Castle (New Swan Stone Castle in English) was a model for the chamed prince's castle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Although much of the inside of the castle was unfinished, the outside, probably finished, is quite fascinating. You can see Alps in the backgroud from a different angle. My family stayed in an inn below the castle and went up to the castle on the hill by bus in the late morning.

This is a nice clean shot of the castle. I assume you took it from the bridge. I wish there was an easy way to shoot from the other side and get the waterfall and the mountains in the picture. You really need a copter for that. When you're in the court yard you don't realize how precariously the castle is pearched on those rocks. You see it in this picture though.

I just went there and they had scaffolding all over this side of it. This castle is amazing.
