A male Goldfinch all decked out in his new spiffy finery ... dining with his fair lady at the newly opened "Finch Cafe". What more could he ask for ... perhaps a wine list ? All right, so I'm a romantic old fool ... Work with me here :)

Ahhhhh. ....... a fellow bird lover & feeder! I, too have the finch feeder in my yard and there really isn't anything sweeter than seeing a pair of those beauties hanging around waiting for the wine list....lol. Excellent capture of them on the finch tube John. I love your colorful comment as well. It certainly does fit these feathered friends of ours!
Thanks for visiting ~caught in the act~. Living in the Midwest, I have grown up with these hissing, spitting critters. They are truly varmints who are ornery and mean! This guy didn't want to eave the deck railing and get away from the feeder, so after multiple attempts, he had to be persuaded :~)
Glad that you enjoyed the image and it was my pleasure. Your comments/critiques and visits are always welcomed and deeply appreciated :=)

Very nicely captured. I really like the fact you got both the male and female at the same time.
