Here we have a Sparrow parsing words better than Bill Clinton in an effort to get a bully Starling to consider moving on. Let's listen in on this Con Artist in action ...
"Hey big fella ... No lie ... There's a guy named Muggsy behind that window down there just itchin' to "SHOOT" any bird that comes near those feeders ... Sometimes he likes to "CAPTURE" birds and bring them to the "PAIN SHOP" or is it Paint Shop ... I never can remember. Anyway ... you're never the same after being there. I had a friend get "BLOWN UP" in there and another wound up "CLONED" ... Nasty business. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Great story John, and a wonderful capture of these 2 birds together. And you got them both in focus which is very hard to do. That Starling is amazing, one landed on my deck today, so colorful. I love this post.

Oh man.. one of your best in the bird series sofar... the blue softfocus background does let those birds stand out in a perfect way, the image is sooo incredible sharp, that i hardly can believe you shot this one through glass (as mentioned in your narative) The composition is as you would wish, but never get, but you managed it !
The sharpness of the beak of the left bird looks leathal, but i believe this shape is made for fruits only.
