A female Brown-Headed Cowbird among the blossoms. I have no clue as to what that is in her beak ... perhaps it's her tongue ? You don't think she was giving me the old "Bronx Raspberry Cheer" do you ? :o)

You sure know your birds, John! What a wonderful hobby that I may take up in a few years when I retire. LOL I love hearing their different calls too. She doesn't look as grumpy as her male counterpart. Another beautiful shot to add to the gallery of beautiful bird images.
