a friend and i spent an afternoon with our cameras. last minute we decided to try and make it out to the country for sunset photos. almost missed it. we were on the out skirts of a wheat field at the intersection of grand and 180th. please comment and enjoy a kansas sunset.

It's a nice shot, Helen. I think I like it even more with the lovely lavender flowers showing in the foreground instead of such a large dark silhouette area. They make a nice subdued balance for the sunset. I also think that cloning out the vapour trails in the sky removes a distraction and lets you concentrate more easily on the soft sunset tones. Still, a nice composition.
