Excellent Nigel! Looks like shattered glass to me. I really like the texture to it. I don't find it messy. Busy, yes, but not messy. You really have to view it full size to see all the detail. Makes me want to reach out and touch it.

Excellent work Nigel. I think you have recreated the a true reconstruction of the shell like animal that we see in museums around the world in their fosil like state. I love the metallic and glass look of it.
