So is the misty look due to the long exposure? Or were you doing this because of the low light? I'd be interested to know why you were using this to experiment with....it turned out to be a very riveting image, by the way
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
The last time I messed with long exposure, I got cold and I couldn't feel my toes for two days. Love the grays, what are those little triangle on posts in photo? I would guess they have something to do with some type of be aware of ..... system. but I'm not sure. Very fine photo and post.

You took an ordinary shot and made it much more interesting due to the long exposure. A soft, dreamy quality to the water and the colors are really marvelous. Nicely done, Nigel.
I missed this one Nigel - it is like a dream - wonderful soft blue tones! ...I must be sleepwalking! There is a slight tilt on the horizon - I know I am a pain at pointing that out to people, but it would improve the whole image if it was straight. :)
