I visited the salt marshes at Blakeney Point when I was in Norfolk. There were quite a few stranded boats and this one had obviously been there for some time. I liked its bone-like insides and the worn and faded colours.

That's a very sharp image of Noah's mini ark. Nice setting and perfect sky. Looks like the lake dried up. Maybe you dragged it ashore to get the shot. I like it.

It does resemble a carcass of some animal left to die. Not much left so evidently the scavengers have picked through the bones. The green grass and sky tells us that life goes on. It may be difficult, but it does go on. Nice lesson in this one Nigel.

This looks as if it has taken root there. Nice lines to this old hulk and a very fine comp.

great find Nigel! old boats are so cool to photograph! I am thinking maybe the boat is slightly too sharp, but I like the textures and colours and the composition of the whole photograph! Now get back indoors! you are grounded!! lol!

Since Davy Jones couldn't find room for this one in his locker, it look like Mother Nature has found a space for it! It would make a great planter...never mind me..lol..

Great shot, and these do appear to be leftover bones of the craft which once fleshed it out. Nicely done, my friend.

Nice composition: the angle you chose looks so obvious but maybe you walked around that boat some times before choosing it. the proportion of the sky and the land is great.

It's always so interesting to see something that seems out of place - like a boat on land. The age gives it so much character. I can imagine a lot about it!

A great shot, Nigel, beautifully taken. Sights like this always get the imagination going. Why was the boat put there in the first place? Did the owner intend to repair it and never got round to it? We'll never know, but we can guess, can't we?

I’ve been gazing at this shot for several minutes. It got my imagination going with what, why and ifs.

If it were my photo I would want to do something with the shadow beside the back of the boat. Despite that I really do like it. The colours are great, it’s nicely saturated yet it looks natural, everything is sharp enough to cut your self on and the subject is fascinating. You got yourself a powerful photo. Congratulations.

Hello Nigel....This is a fine nautical picture you have posted....The angle of the shot is brilliant and I like the way you have part of the bow above the horizon...I hope that the crew got off saely....Well done....All the best....Mick.

I like the shot. Looks like the only blue that this boat will ever see again is the blue of the sky and not of the water.
