i was just gonna pm you to say where had this gone!? lol! im glad to see you uploaded it again! I like the blueness to this shot and the framing, i also like those bright coloured canoes in the background! the morning light suits the scene well. nice to see you were up and about early with your camera!
I never see views of this part of London. It's always Big Ben and Tower Bridge. Why, I might have thought that this was in New York or somewhere over here. I love the boats, and the modern buildings in the shot. Very colorful, too, Nigel. Good work.
What a gorgeous shot, the water is such a beautiful color, the composition is outstanding, and the way you framed it really makes this shot stand out. Nice job!
Your capture of the early morning light on this setting makes the photo. A mid-day shot would just wouldn't be the same. Great comp on this Nigel, it really allows the eye to trace the sun's rays.

I'm glad you came back and got me. I went to the dock earlier but the boat had sailed. Appreciate your turning about. Love the colors and the framing really accents everything. Has a modern art feel to it. Good show Sir Nigel.

Good shot, Nigel. As you know I really like cityscapes (you people have seen the Liverpool Waterfront often enough) and I really like this. The juxtaposition of the ultra-modern with the old boats and barge is great.
Nigel, this one is a winner for me, and many reasons. I love the architecture (C.W. is on my "to shoot" wishlist), great colours, and some great lines and angles in this picture too. What I love most though is the way the v of the pontoon is kind of holding up the buildings, making the composition of this shot perfect in my opinion. This is THE type of work I want to be creating, and now I know how to use it, into my "faves" folder it goes!
you are an early riser Nigel - hope you are not going to wake us all up at 6am in Bradford! lol! Excellent early morning shot - love the nearly daylight appearance - it has a calmness about it.
ps apologies for the lack of posting/comments this week - it has been hectic!
