A view from the summit of Mt Snowdon, the highest point in England and Wales, taken at Easter this year. Tech Talk Samsung GX-10, Sigma EX DC 10 - 20 mm lens at 10 mm, f9.5, ISO 100, s1/250. Before you ask, I climbed up the scree slope. The train wasn't running.

Nigel, I do prefer this version and not only because of the people but the view is so great! You must have been enjoying this climb! The sky and the mountains have such soft colours.. like that a lot! Mich

Nigel, what a lovely picture. I truly like the left, center, and top portions of it the most. Such a dreamy and soft view of the countryside and sky. Those clouds seem to be just floating by on their way to somewhere different, to impress someone else.

Superb shot, Nigel and excellent post work. From your perspective I feel I'm right there sharing the view. The skies were particularly beautiful for your outing that day and you captured the color perfectly. This one's a keeper.

I am with Shads on this Sir Nigel. I particularly like the left and upper view of the photo. The rocks on the right seem a little soft. Is that a oxymoron or just plain moronic on my part. It could be my monitor.

You probably would have climbed even if the train had been running. Good post.

This is strikingly beautiful For awhile, I thought this might be a composite image since the foreground is so textured and the background so smooth. I put in PS and enlarged it(am I mean or what)but it doesn't appear to be a composite. I can only pay it my highest compliment-KEEP-PAH!
