This was taken at Mupe Bay in Dorset. I was up at 3.30 am to get there for the sunrise! There's a fair amount of lens flare in this one, but I liked it. What do you think?
This one has a WOW FACTOR that is right off the charts. My, my what a beauty. I, too, love the lens flare in this, as well as everything else. Fantastic capture, Nigel.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

At first I thought this was a Terragen creation, I don't know how you managed to capture the sun, & so much light on the shoreline too but congratulations Sir. As for the lens flare I think you are just searching for compliments. (o:
Well done, & congratulations on this smart upload Nigel

I like it Sir Nigel. The lens flare doesn't bother me at all. The water crashing against the rocks is what makes the shot and the angle you chose is perfect. Excellent post.
I actually don't mind the lens flare Nigel, and as it's not too much I think it actually adds to the image. I always like a lead in from the left hand bottom corner, done so perfectly here. Add the superb composition, fantastic lighting, the movement in the water and such a beautiful subject, it can only be faved!!! Top drawer stuff.

oh myyyy Nigel - what an outstanding shot - yes there is a little glare from the sun, but disregarding that the image is outstanding - you have definitely mastered the controls on you camera for getting that water looking like silk! ....3.30??? hmmmm I'm afraid you would have been on your own for that one! lol!

Beautiful shot but I think I would airbrush the red and green (I guess that little slash of red and green is the lens glare you speak of). The photo is very dramatic though.
Excellent work. Full of good photographic considerations. The movement of the water rushing over the rocks is a strong element. I also like the shape and haze of the distant hills. Great capture.

OMG..I think I counted 35 comments here!!!!!!!!!! You are So popular!! tsk tsk The movement and the colour of that water, hitting those bigtime rocks..wowzer!! Magnificent! THe lens flare doesn't matter, in fact, I like it a lot. It adds a lot of "pizzazz" to this lovely scene too. I also love the muted soft sky against that green. I think I would have gotten up that early too. It would be well worth it, and it was for you!! Bravo Sir Nigel..(I like the sound of that together!) Verena
