Pulpit Rock is at the very end of the Isle of Portland, next to the famous Portland Bill lighthouse. It's a dramatic place for photography and Paul and I spent several hours there as the sun was going down risking life and limb clambering over the wet rocks!

Beautiful Nigel! Love the colour you've caught in the rocks and the water, and you did better than me by getting down lower. I don't think I went down to that bit did I? Super composure too, and If I would of thought about it, I would have asked you the name of this place before posting mine!!! Very well done, can't wait to see no 2!

You did that for us? Bless you, Nigel, for not getting your head bumped on a wet rock or losing your camera to the sea. The colors in here are exquisite and the scene is beautiful, of course. I see why this is Pulpit Rock. Up there you could command a lot of attention, but the rock itself seems to have no trouble doing so all on its own. Wonderful post.

Oh my!!! What a magnificent photo!! I want to stand on my chair and cheer!! the colours are just soooooooooo wicked good!!! Every thing is so sharp, to the finest detail. You must have a most wonderful camera!! Nigel, this has to be the best photo of yours I've ever seen! I just totally am in love with this scene. The water and the rock formation is awesome. I think it was worth 'risking your life'...but I want to see MORE of this area SOON ok?? I can't wait long, I need 'my fix' with these spectacular photos. And your CScore? I have many over 80 but only ONE over 90!! So congrats!!!.........Verena
