And I thought Idaho only had potatoes..... I am a stupid boy.... Impressive image and a beautiful place. I like the 3 levels of landscape, grazing pasture, forest, mountain and with a beautiful sky to top it off. N1ce. Cheers Al.
Really great capture. This is a keeper. The different levels of landscape including the skyscape really complement each other in a most delightful way. This photo makes me want to go there and see it firsthand. :)
All of you have been so kind with your comments. I'm pleased you enjoyed this photo. It doesn't really do justice to the area - that part of Idaho is so beautiful.
Thank you. I like your comment line - that's been the rule I've lived by at Caedes. If it's good enough to click on for a better look, it's good enough to vote on. Thanks for taking time to look and vote.
Wow, can't believe I ever missed this one, Nathan. If I wanted to see mountains out west, Idaho wouldn't be the first place that would come to mind. However, from this photo I can see that it should be a place to consider! Lovely landscape. The different areas in the photo, the grass, the trees, the mountains, and the sky all come together for a lovely and very striking composition.
Never knowing. Shocking but we're nothing, we're just moments. We're clever but we're clueless, we're just human. Amusing but confusing. We're trying, but where is this all leading? Never Know.

Nathan, I'm glad you liked Canyon Through the Trees. I enjoyed your photo of the Sawtooth Mountains. I was stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho in the mid 60s and I loved the scenery in that state.
