This is a state park near Bryce Canyon (about 25 miles away). Whole different landscape, with many unusual rock formations like this one.

I just knew you were holding back photos, think your gonna dribble 'em out one at time, huh?

Does that rock have a particular name? (father nature?) ;)

Wonderful composition. The three different colors (green, red, and blue) contrast very nicely. Well done.

I was thinking the same thing as Keith, lol.
Sneaky you are to be so quietly holding back these wonderful works of yours.

Yeah, about "father nature..." I think that thought crosses everyone's mind who sees all these spires in the park. :) Some of them are pretty amazing. Here's a snippet of information I pulled from www.desertusa.com/kodut/du_kodut_vvc.html. "Kodachrome Basin is a spectacular, small state park that can be reached by a well-paved road 7 miles south of Cannonville off Utah Route 12. It is due east of Bryce Canyon National Park and is completely surrounded by Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The Park encompasses 2,240 acres.

Kodachrome Basin contains many multi-colored rock formations of red, yellow, pink, white and brown, as well as massive sandstone chimney spires geologists believe to be solidified sediment that filled ancient springs or geysers left standing after the softer surrounding sandstone eroded away. In a setting of clear blue skies and Great Basin Desert vegetation, the National Geographic Society, with the consent of the Kodak Film Corp., named the area Kodachrome Basin."

It's just beautiful, the blue sky against the rocks and bushes.
And it is the first time I saw a c-index of 100... well, tomorrow it will be less, but it's just nice to see it :-)
