This is a small piece of a much larger fractal, which was layered, shaded, and rotated many times. Finally, it was colored by overlaying other fractals in color blending mode. Hope you enjoy. This has some nice feathery textures that you can see when viewed full size. The circular shapes look like an egg progressively opening, with wings spreading out the top.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile. Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind.

Now that works for me too. Nice strong center design and an outer area that compliments very well the way it is fanning out from the center. Colors tasteful as usual. I see a peacock trying to hide behind a palm. ;)-

Hey, I thought Jesus didn't like churches? Okey, so why do we crowd around with people we barley know or like to worship him?

Weird but true:Texas - It was a 17-million-to-1 shot — actually shots — when an El Paso man and a player in his foursome each aced the same hole.

Nathan,
Even after 2 1/2 years old this still packs a punch. I ran across this in the featured images this morning and just had to comment.
Very nice and it looks like I need to check your gallery again.
