I love color. There are harmonies of sight that are as lovely and inspiring to me as great music. I guess that's one reason fractals have been so appealing to me. It's been a year now since I tried my first fractal and posted it on Caedes. Thanks for suffering through them all. It's been a journey for me - and hopefully one that has progressed in a positive direction. I feel I've learned a lot, thanks to all of you. This fractal image was an exploration of wonderful color - part bright and vivid, and part delicate pastel. I hope you enjoy. You should view this fullsize to see the delicate color patterns in this one, particularly in the pastel areas.

This is just lovely. Harmonius is the right word. I have long tried to explain how great music can produce images in the mind. Patterns of great depth. Fractals do the same thing for the eyes, that music does for the ears. To me, a mere beginner, your fractals are marvelous.

Your combination of fractal and framing is exquisite! I've seen the first, the progression and now this. Because of your work I now can look at fractals with a more discerning eye and for that I thank you.

Happy Anniversary Nathan and how nice of you to give your gift to us. My favorite of yours to date. Your pastels match harmoniously with your bolds and are all colors I enjoy thoroughly. Your framing has flair and elegance. All over terrific and still provides room for folders. Well done! ;)

I would call this a Faberge Fractal. It reminds me of the high quality of craftmanship. Well done Nathan. Cheers Al.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
