Mario (Omegaman) asked me to do a collaboration with him -- which I'm honored that he'd ask. After experimenting with his lovely image, Collaboration part 1, I came up with this. It reminded me of a native American ceremonial shield, or perhaps a complex dreamcatcher. That's what inspired the title and the rest of this image. The petroglyphs come from Newspaper Rock in Utah. We hope you enjoy. Please let us know what you think.

Amazing what you can do with these fractals. I saw Marios' original (which was very interesting in and of itself) and you have created something so different. I love it. Congrats to you both. Great team!!!!!

Wow, this is really great...the composition of the entire piece is perfect...colors match very well, and I love the tribal designs/paintings on the borders. Congrats to you both for an awesome image!

Nathan, you are amazing. Like a singer doing a cover song and shining every bit as much as the original if not more. The red ochre background really ties this all together. I looked at Mario's original and I wouldn't have seen this progression in a million years. Really nice piece of work.

quite an achievement - a design that is obviously very intricate and well executed but translates to quite a simple and effective desktop image. well done.

Nathan....it's getting to be that I recognize your work from the Thumb. This, by the way, is intended as high compliment. Your framing and presentation .. the intentional irreguarity of the caming ... Stunning.

Excellent collaboration, congratulations to you and Mario.

Hi Nathan, well executed piece. I like the idea of primitive heiroglyphs being beautifully presented. Well done to both of you. Cheers Al.

Beautiful! I didn't see the original image (looks like it's been removed from the site) but this collaborative effort is quite remarkable!

Great job first off! I really like the image, the center of the image comes out much more with the dark colors around it. The background has a great texture to it to. How do you do that? Great collaboration!
