Completely drawn and rendered in photoshop, except for the cloud photo I took and used as a counter texture to the stone. Enjoy. I'd like to get some feedback from you on this one.
Each gemstone you do gets better and better. They look so real, I want to touch them and feel the texture. I love the design of this.. Another excelent image..
This is excellent Nathan. I love how you used the clouds in the background. I can't draw a stickman if my life depended on it, so this is truely art!

Hello Nathan, that's really something!
The thirst thought that came to my mind is that of double recognition. Your ancient memory seems to have a mixture of two types of arts of which I am really fond and have some works at my home (most replicas). The first is that of Mayan art, because of your use of symbols and gems and the outer rings. The second is the symmetrie and choise of colors on the inner ring which shows similarities in the art of the indians who still make and sell their arts on Vancouver Island. Maybe a challenge for your next work?
Anyway, great job! D.
Well, I was thinking Hopi when I created it, but I'm not an expert on native American culture. Thanks for taking time to comment, everyone. I really appreciate your feedback.
As always, your talent and abilities to create such pretty images just astounds me. If I ever get to be even 1/4 a good as you, i will consider it a great accomplishment indeed!
Beautifully conceived and executed. It just says WEST, again and again, and symbolizes the clean, open spaces and skies and the bones of the land showing through.
Jenn, Mike, Robert, and Emmebox - thanks for taking time to comment. I'm not sure about how good I am, Jenn - I'm still learning and progressing. I'm totally awed by many of the artists on this site. I like being part of this community. And, yes, it is pretty much Photoshop work all the way. Thanks again.
This is absolutey awesome.... it baffles me that you created this from scratch (Okay it baffles me how the heck you do it!). This is beatiful. I am a good portion Indian myself and my living room decor would love this added to the artwork! Awesome job!
