While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see. ~Dorothea Lange
Hi Nathan, my oh my how I adore this one, another "Mt Rushmore" addition!! I love the butterfly concept and every wonderful thought that occurs to me while viewing! Mere words cannot express my feelings when I spotted this beauty. It's soft and tender and quite stunning. A definite 10. I've added it to my desktop and favs too. :) Sarah
This is the type of art that I am more into. The integration of real life with fractals. I think you did this one pretty well, especially with the colors. Kind of grainy in alot of areas, but definately nice enough to get high marks.
Thank you! Dave, I find that most Apophysis, FraxFlame, and Chaoscope flames turn out "grainy", even when I set them for higher resolution renders. Got any suggestions on how to make them less so? or is it the "nature of the beast?" This piece began as a 3200x2400 pixel creation.
Nathan: What an imagination and wonderful creativity. I ran across this image while going through someones favorites gallery and am afraid I will need to add it to mine, give it a 10 and put it on my desktop for a week.
Just in case I haven't made myself clear: THIS IS FANTASTIC. Thanks.
this is gorgeous!!!! i love the colors and i love that its a butterfly. you should make this into a dragonfly. i love dragonflies. i think it would look awesome anyway you spin it
I'm new to this site and seem to be constantly picking out your work!! I simply love this one and it's now my wallpaper, until I decide to exchange it for another one of your marvelous works!
Thank you, friends. As far as downloading goes, I'm going to assume you're using a Windows PC. Once you have the enlarged view showing, click on the right mouse button and choose "Set as desktop background" (or similar).
I supopose your tired of seeing comments reappear on this aged posting but for whatever reason, I had missed it all this time. How unique, not to mention beautiful. It came up on the front page and immediately caught my eye. The colors are astounding. It's a keeper.

Why do people risk their lives for others?
When one person dies... he disappears... Along with his past, current lifestyle, and his future. Many people die in missions and wars. They die easily and in surprisingly simple ways. Those who die have goals and dreams. But everyone has something as important as those. Parents, siblings, friends, lovers... People who are important to you. They trust and help each other. The bond between the people important to you ever since birth... And the string that binds them becomes thicker and stronger as time goes by. It's beyond reason. Those bound to you by that string will do that. Because it's important...

Just saw this beauty on the start page here. Had to come take a closer look and save it. Outstanding work! Do you have a dragonfly done like this as well??
I just wanted to let you know that woman going by the screen name of "Southern Lady" has posted your wallpaper on the Desktop Nexus dot com website, under "Butterflies".
