Photoshop styles, layering, and blending. Tierazon fractals. A somewhat different color scheme - and one that reminded me of an ocean. I think I've discovered a new kind of stone - fractalite. They make nice jewels. :) Have a great day.

The stone is amazing and gorgeous, the blending of colors on the right side is not that smashing... Maybe because the gradient between the yellow and the blue is to blue, do I make any sens? I love the vivid royal blue though! :0))!

Hi Vamoura! Orange/yellow and blue/blue green are a very difficult combination of colors to work with. Being opposites - when they mix you get mud. However, I thought this fractal rendered them quite cleanly. Thanks for your comments, my friend.

And wouldnt this make a most precious bracelet? Nathan, Im serious, you really ought to try and sell your designs..I have a feeling they would really mean a lot to some of the unique jewelry making people...I feel the colours are wonderful..ITs as tho this "jewel" is getting a beautiful sunlight on it....and then it radiates below the design..(the stone I call it) Then to top it all of the colours fill the stone itself..Its just magical...I get all teary eyed my friend!...your creations just fill me with so much..because being an artist, I LOVE colours so very much...thank you again...I do not know and will never understand how you can come up with these gems...

Thanks Verena. You are so kind. I'm not sure how to go about selling my designs - I've never been in that arena before. I do these because they give me joy, and I also enjoy sharing them with my Caedes' friends. I know Ann was in the printing business at one time - maybe she could give some pointers. Anyway, thanks again.

Nathan .. lovely jewel work, as always .. but until Fractalite's value stabilizes on the world's exchanges .. I turned my attention to the gold work .. :o) ... something about it struck me as odd right away .. so I bit into it .. :o) ... I think the light hits it differently than the jewel .. so I've concluded that others have bitten into it before me .. that is to say, I think it's foil covered chocolate

I wouldn't want to see you lose face when they ask you to ring the bell at the NYSE

Stop trying to figure out who's talented and who's not, and just take a shot at it, okay? Do some art. Tell anybody who asks that I said it was all right. ---Emma Bull

Hey, Keith, you're the first to notice. You get the chocolate. :) Actually, I did change the lighting on the gold to make it blend better with the background (was too light before). Now you know my deep, dark secret. :)

I'd like to see a tutorial on your filigree work. I think it's better on this one than ever and I don't know what your pulling it from. Is it a fractal too?

This reminded me of the ocean also (I love the name) so it is one of my favourites. I don't know why but I love anything nautical... must be that we all came from the ocean (or something like that...)

What a lovely, glowing jewel. This could be a belt! Magnificant & shining colors. Background is beautifully matched to the stone. I'm impressed with your work. Thanks for this jewel - 10/10s

I've been visiting this site for a long time. I enjoy everything I see, but I am consistently drawn to your use of color...light.......and jewels. This brings to mind a visual of watching a Victorian bracelet fall slowly to the bottom of the ocean....which in turn....reminds me of the Titanic. Kinda corny...but I feel dreamy when I look at it. ::smile:: The touch of orange really balances it well and frames the jewel nicely. Wish I could have this as a bracelet or belt. Have a good day.

Beautiful work here. I agree with bunnyslippers - this is a belt fit for a king.

I'm often frustrated by how PS blocks up gradients, so lots of praise from me on your mastery of them. Outstanding as always.
