I just spent a few days in the Tetons with a class of 5th grade students at Teton Science School. Thought you might enjoy this afternoon shot - the weather was beautiful while I was there. This trail was quite inviting... :)

I miss going on trips, my school says that the 10th grade is too old to go on trips yet too immature....Great shot though, I like the colors that change in area, the moutains in the far, the field of trees. Nice shot.

You were THIS close to where I live and didnt come visit me?? awwwwwwwwwww!!!!!
There is NOTHING as beautiful as the Grand Tetons when it comes to mountain ranges!! I love them so much. They just have a way of giving off total beauty! We try to go there every year. I can sure feel the crisp air and the easy way to breathe from this photo...the pathway leads me right to the wonderful evergreens and then the mountains reaching for the sky. Wonderful photo and thank you for sharing this for sure!!

Hi Nathan, WOW, what a beautiful breath of the west!! I love it and have flown over this part of the country many times, but have never been there! Your photo is majestic and shows us just what you wanted us to see! Remarkably done, like everything you do! Hope you had a great time Nathan! Sincerely, Marilyn

Hi Nathan,
you know, I have the travellers guide for the Tetons still laying on a book shelf. But something happened on the way (2 kids), so I never made it there.
Thanks for letting me have this glimpse of majesty!

If you can't find the words, you may as well shoot it...

Thanks Paul, Marilyn, Verena, Mimi, and Andy. The Teton National Park was an awesomely beautiful place. My 10 year old daughter and I walked out on a huge meadow in the moonlight and listened to the elk bugling. It was magical.

That trail is still inviting. Don't think I have ever seen an ugly shot of the Tetons. There isn't an ugly spot to be found in those mountains. What a brilliant composition in lighting and perspective. Grand display of and good misture of three entirely different landscapes- barren foreground, forest and corlorful mountains. Great capture.
