Your work is really amazing. You can write a tutorials on how to achieve certain effects yet your work is instantly recognizable. Love this piece, the colors do it for me over the other.

I think this version is better than your other one. The colors are much more usable on a desktop IMHO. There are some hard edges, and I think the lensflare would be more convincing sparking or reflecting off one edge of the golden "lace" frame, but other than that, I think the colors are what make this image.

I think you've outdone yourself on this one Nathan.

I like this one. I think the darker background has a more peaceful feel somehow and lets what I always think of as the lead lines in your stained glass stand out. I like the light on the one visible point as well.

I finally remembered what this image reminded me of! I was cleaning my room out yesterday and found that hand-dyed silk scarf I bought from an art student in Russia. I don't know if you remember it, but it has almost the exact same colors!

I agree wth L_A_G above. I love the royal colors and this whole thing put together. Ive actually seen this on the desktop of a friend of mine, and like it instantly! very nice!
