(Main) abstract
More photoshop doodles. I was playing with ways to make very dark, deep, saturated color. Also playing with the transparency aspects of the blending modes (the semi-transparent "glass" on the right). If you go into the layers palette and choose "Blending Options" in the layer effects menu, there is a slider named fill opacity. You can lower the opacity of the layer, yet the layer effect such as bevel and emboss remain at 100% strength. This allows you to make something look transparent, like glass (or stained glass). Cool. Hope you enjoy.

Pretty pretty pretty. and one of my favorite colors too! I love the jewel, so soft and wonderfully curved. Makes a great desktop, love the imagination.

Nice job Nathan! As usual these make wonderful wallpaper images. My challenge to you is break free of this style of image and create something bold and new outside of this comfort zone. I'm not being critical, it's just that a lot of us settle in on a particular style and don't expand from it very much. It the time of the year to pick up your camera and explore and doucment the world around you. By the way, great photoshop creation.

Hi!
I have used this image for my inspiration in my lastest images and knew I just had to comment on it. The purples are great in this image! I love the gem! I have question, not about this image though, with the white parts on the tops of gems do you change the opacity from 100 to something below it beacause in my newest image ”From A Gypsy” the comments that been left say that it is to strong and I was just wondering cause I was kinda stuck. Thanks! Also for sharing this great image!
