Not only is it another fine work from your mind's eye, on the note of your pen tool work ... it shows the exceptional nature of that element that has been a component of many of your pieces, that are personal favourites of mine.
I doubt many of us have the skill, knowledge and creativity to produce such a fine piece as yours here.
And your dedication is more than apt, insofar as what I know of you since being a member on the site.
I've known you to be extremely generous and giving of your time and talents ... kind and gracious where words are concerned ... and lending a sympathetic ear and gentle heart to those that have been fortunate to cross your path.
I count myself amongst that number ... even from a distance your benevolence is truly inspirational.
Thank you for all that you do ... and all that you are ... and I most certainly hope that my words here find you and yours well. :o)
Signed,
A Fan of Your Work; aka Les aka purmusic
p.s. I would have left an apple for my 'teacher' (you, that is) ... but, uh ... I ate it. :oP
p.s.s. The simplicity of your piece here is a bit of a paradox. True, the elements are not many in number ... however, they meld together cohesively to form a very beautiful overall composition. And each in their own right is quite stunning.
Just beautiful, Nathan. I love that it goes from extreme darks at the periphery to extreme light(white) at the center. The blue background adds a sense of peace.
Wow Nathan, this appears to be a heavenly body. I love the intricate design however simple it appears to be. The jewel-like gem in the center catches the viewer's eye and draws one into the 'beyond'.
Your creativity knows no boundaries and I am so blessed to be able to view all of them event hough I do not comment.
In that respect, I count you amongst my friends :o)
To my favorites this will go to reside.
Many thanks for sharing this with me, my friend :=)
i think les said it all in the wonderful way with words that les has! the design here is amazing, its cool how you can draw the metalwork and i like the jewel too, great stuff as always .
I love the way this jewel seems to be suspended and the description of Firebird suits it perfectly. The rich deep colours of the background are a perfect foil for the brilliance of the bird. I mean brilliance in two senses - the briulkliant glow and the talent that made it :)
sorry if i don't comment on each of your pictures. to those of you who comment so often, i can't imagine how you get it done! i for one am always extremely grateful for the kind comments and suggestions that you make.
