My son and my wife the moment he stepped off the bus - after he had spent a year fighting with the Marines in the Helmund province of Afghanistan. My wife is overcome with emotion at his safe return. A touching moment in our lives. This is my submission for the Black and White contest.

Outstanding shot! I can feel her joy at the safe return of her son. I think any mother can understand the emotions she must be feeling. To your son my heart felt thanks for affording me the freedom and benefits I enjoy as a citizen of the USA!!!
