Vacationing in the Redwood forests of northern California. Such majesty and beauty - hard to describe the awe inspiring sights unless you've been there. Here's a photo I took last evening. Hope you enjoy. By the way, this is an HDR combination of three bracketed exposures.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Truly inspiring lighting! Minimal elegance, such a pleasure to view. Would be a wonderful wall size mural. Saved to view longer!

Nathan i have seen this a couple of times in the New Images gallery and was slightly reticent about posting a comment because i couldnt think of anything constructive or coherant to say. Your image just made me go a bit gushy and cliched in the use of compliments but let me give it a go! A shot such as this, that seems to sing and celebrate the beauty of nature truely chokes me! I could look at a scene like this forever and a day and never tire of it. How was that....hopefully not too gushing! Lets just say i like it ;)

This would win the current contest if you have time to enter it and are so inclined Nathan. Wonderful photo opportunity recognition and the ability to pull it off.
