All computer generated work aside, my passion is still photography. Found this in the middle of downtown Carthage (the small town I live in).

Very nice capture. The shadows are great.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Very nice capture the shadow are great. I wish the frame was not so tight and a little more zoomed out. But otherwise a great job.

I like the colors, and darkness of this capture. It shows finality, and of what once was. I like the feel of it. Great work!

I like it! This one is added to my favorites. The brick work doesn't look as old as it should be to become so run down and burnt out. Carthage...rings a bell, doesn't the town have something to do with the Nostics...the holy grail and Mount Segoure(sp?)?

i think the garage beside the refreshment stand outlasted the stand itself (although its also abandoned), like the brick, the glass is also not nearly as worn.

Excellent composition and use of saturation (or lack thereof) to create an effective image.

A wonderful place to desaturate and add to the age. I like the idea that a place offering refreshment is dry, boarded and vacant. It has a modern ghost town look with the leaves blown against the boards.

You do not have to thank me if I leave a comment on your image...unless you really want to. ...this is a new thing to save time. =) All my thanks are becoming, "Thank you for the comments." over and over... If you want to thank me post a comment on one of my shots. I would appreciate it. Help me develop and grow.
