Ah Rene, Fall is definitely in Quebec. What an amazing post this is with glorious colors and clarity as well as wonderful composition. Terrific post and thanks for sharing this beauty.

I was hoping I would start seeing some fall colors because I sure won't see any around where I live (Louisiana). This is beautiful. I love the contrast of the white bark against the fall colors. Please post some more fall colors.

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I get exasperated by the c-index where, all too often, beautiful photos like this one get only moderate results. I try not to look at the index, concentrating instead on the ratio between views and downloads. That being the case, your shot is well into the 80s. Actually, even that's a little low. This photo should be rated in the 90s. The diagonal of the sky matches that of the water and the gorgeous contrasting fall colors make the white bark of the Aspen (or Birch?) pop off the screen. I suppose someone didn't like the way one tree had partially fallen and thought you should "clone" it out. This is nature at its best and most accurate and I'm grateful to download it.
