Ladybird looks like it's taking a moment to enjoy the beauty of the flower... But in reality it was annoyed with me, because I put it there.. LOL =P

I believe the second half of one's life is meant to be better than the first half.The first half is finding out how you do it. And the second half is enjoying it....
Lovely photo. Nice work. Would be just as beautiful (maybe even more so) without the border, too, although the border you've done is very tasteful and blends well with the image.

Excellent photo! As to whether the border is extraneous or not, it doesn't alter the fact that the color is gorgeous and the focus on the ladybug is spot on. For a newcomer, Merino, you certainly are coming on with some great images. I look forward to future posts.

one of those images i put in my favourites at once! so..ther it goes :D
it's BRILLIANT;.. i haven't seen such gorgeous flower macro for a while.. specially because of the great vibrant yellow and all those pretty vivid colours.. dewtails are simply stunning!!! i love the focusing on this one.. you blurred a bit to focus the little ladybird.. i hope it didn't hate you because of that.. ;) i think the little bug enjoyed that miraculous lily :D
lighting is great.. and the petals seem translucent! but the thing that fascinates me the most - those colours.. they are wonderful! bordering is nice, too, i'm glad you chose to use shades instead of just one colour, but i would prefer it without the framing because it would look better on a desktop. nevertheless, it's a fascinating image, my favourites and highest marks.

Oh wow. I have NEVER seen a shot like this. The absolute perfection of detail... and the fact that I can see the lady bug so clearly... wow, this shot is INCREDIBLE! Such beauty!
One thing: That big bulb-like thing in the top-left corner is a bit of a distraction. Aside from that- just wonderful.
