Chicago, it's a toddling town. This is a great shot of the city. Parks are everywhere down there with lagoons, harbor inlets etc. Beautiful when it's frozen.
Great, I you can see that it's a sunset without actually seeing a sun in the picture. It is a beutiful city, glad that the windows are so clean. Thank you for sharing.
Just had the honor of voting on this pic in the voting booth..I gave it the ten it deserves, and added you as a friend..I hope to see more of your wonderful captures :)PJ
This is one of those rare instances of doing things right, and extremely well.
What really strikes me is the absolute razor sharp capture of this magnificent view.
Great balance in overall composition, really well done. The perspective presented here, was the only thing that made me pause, with the slight tilt(?) of the horizon, or perhaps, distortion or warping is a more accurate word.
But, the more I allow myself to be absorbed and immersed in this shot ... the more I appreciate the uniqueness of your take.
Fantastic work. And yes, thank you for sharing your efforts.
wow, how beautiful. instantly into my favs. love the soft colors and the lighting and shadows and everything. and the clarity is perfect. oh man i wish i was there right now. chicago is one of my favorite places in the world (ok, so i have never left the US...but still) this is an amazing representation of what i think is so beautiful about there. fantastic work, except for it making me wish being there! ~abby
I used to live in Chicago and know this spot but don't think I've ever seen it captured so beautifully. What I like best is the different patterns created by the sun's reflection. Thank you for sharing this with us!
I have never see Chicago until now but what a fantastic capture. I love how you have framed this and the composition especially with the curved wall leading your eye into the image. Perfect time of day for it too. Just a fantastic shot and i love it :) Thanks for sharing :)
