This is a close-up of the RED FLOWERS that can be found by following that link. When I first saw them I thought they were berries of some sort too, especially since we're getting on toward the long tooth of August, but they're a type of flower I've never seen before. I thought I'd bring it up before the experts here and perhaps get an answer. They almost look like a clover flower of some type :)

Spectacular. The blending of cool tones to the firery center is genious. The clarity mixed with the blurred background add visual intrigue.
The composition is perfection with an enigmatic bloom imposing itself and taking command as it should.

They do look clover-ish PJ. I have no idea what they are... This framing is beautiful - picks up the purples and greens of the background perfectly. Lovely! ~Mary~

Gomphrena globosa 'Strawberry Fields' , a type of amaranthus :)

Lovely shot of this PJ - so simple yet so beautiful and I think your framing is perfect.

I was so curious about this from your larger image I searched for it on the 'net - perfect timing as I had just discovered it when this one came up :)So - there ya go - its Gomphrena globosa :)

Softly elegant in a homey sort of way. It doesn't have the elegant beauty of a calla lily for instance, more the lovliness of the less pretentious Sweet William, but there all the same. Very nice PJ.
