Stunning, PJ, so very beautiful!:) bright colors matching neat, shapes so softly falling, forms and textures so awesome, turns this great art shot a real piece of art! Congrats, my friend, you always doing and sharing nice things that enhances our view and life... into my favs:))
Not pumpkins, but Chinese lanterns !!!!!
They do look like paper Chinese bulb shades. I do not know their name in Polish either ...
But they are very very charming !

Perfect description both mentally and physically. If the mind can conceive, the eye will notice and the brain will get it done. I would give credit to who said this but I think I just made it up. Mr. Dillon said it better in less words. The green leaves, getting ready to turn, the yellow leaf and the orange ones sure make a nice fall photo. Good job PJ

What a beautiful flower! It sure is appropriate for this season. I love the orange colours besides the greens to give it an autumn taste. Well done! =)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Do you have some psychic problem with pumkins my friend ? Actually it is your favorite subject. Kidding. You're right these leafs seem to be some young pumkins. A great image.
The light you've got in this shot is truly wonderful PJ. Fantastic clarity too. Little pumpkins they may be, or Chinese lanterns. Very good this, almost looks 3d.

Definitely does look like my favorite pie ingredient!! This shot makes me kinda hungry...is that weird? Anyway...this is a really nice representation of the change in seasons...you've got the literal change from green to orange/yellow and figurative change from summer to autumn and Halloween and thanksgiving. Very cool!!
My grandmother used to call these Chinese Lanterns. Pic the leaves off and they`re great as dried flowers. This is a great shot of a colourful subject.
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
Jan is right these are commonly known as Chinese lanterns, They are very unique, but very invasive (know by experience), and very hard to get rid of. Great shot and the color combination is very striking...

Seems You Americans are obsessed with the "Halloween culture" but like a few others I too thought they looked like "Chinese lanterns". Click on Physalis alkekengi A lovely subject well photographed PJ . :d
