It's almost that time to give thanks again. I love that song I learned in childhood and I love this wonderful shot! A wonderful capture of the river and the bridge and the reflections and colors are tops! A really very fine capture, PJ!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

What song is that? Never mind I'm off to Grandma's house. I too love the reflection. Such a part of Americana that has fallen by the wayside. All the endeavors to connect the country with rails, the disconnect them. Maybe's there a moral here. Good photo. Thought provoking.
Actually the rusty bridge slightly disturbs the beautiful river scene here Pj. The sky and the reflections are lovely and the river bank looks good too.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

I like the look of that rusty old bridge, even if I wish it still were in use. The reflections in the water are really beautiful. Great photo, goes to my favs. Thank´s for sharing!
You're right reflections are very great. Sharpness light too. It's a pity that train bridge isn't still in use, it gives a good impression for the travelers. Well done
You used to take the train to Grandmas house then,PJ? lol Love your shot here. There is a program (rails to trails) to convert these old rail ways & rail bridges into bike trails. This would make a beautiful one! Great job as always PJ! C):-)

Aloha PJ, For some reason when I opened it up in full view the image looks like a wide angle shot, even the view above has that same effect. I'm going to have to take it home and study it, so when I need to show that same effect, I'll have it in my tool bag. Very nice of you to share this with us. Nice work PJ!
Rust is actually very photogenic! lol! especially when it is in a form like this - wonderful engineering! What I like the most are the reflections of the bridge in the water.

~ This really brought back memories...we had a rusty train bridge over a creek near us when I lived in NJ and we used to ride our boat under it. At high tide we could actually touch it as we rode under, lol. Great shot & reflections PJ!
