My new macro lens has been performing like a charm, when I get the chance to go
out and use it...when I feel that my camera and I won't end up looking like this!!

I finally have it figured out. The Macro Wave freezes and the Micro Wave boils. I feel so dumb. This is good example of the freezing Macro. It always amazes me how the limbs look like blood carrying vessels in these shots.
Maybe something to that freezing of the body. It has a name but it escapes me right now. Guess I could google. Cryostasis (I googled) it's the stage the body it placed in during cryonics. Excellent PJ and that dark blue sky just sets it off.
They would make good swizzle sticks for a wine Spitzer. Oh, I mean Spritzer. Sorry.
Lookin' good, PJ! The ice really looks cold and the sky looks so blue and soon blossoms will be clinging to the branches instead of the ice. Great macro. Can you tell us what lens you chose?

Hmmmm. They look good enough to eat. Like rock candy mentioned above. Yummy! You have a nice dark blue sky, that highlights the rock candy sticks. I think I'll also have one of those powdered sugar sticks I see in the background. Maybe they are cinnamon sticks. Grrrr. Now I really want some. Nice macro, PJ. Super clarity and detail, and aroma...well that part may be my imagination.
Great clarity on this macro, the icicle in the forefront is nice and crisp, and the color in the background sky is so rich without any noise. Great shot.
I never thought about how much better ice looks when it is 1500 miles away. This definitely looks really great. It is easier to be objective when I'm not shivvering. Composition is superb and the delicate details trapped in the ice just sing.

God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.
