A full burn static firing of the engine designed to carry astronauts into orbit as the replacement for the shuttle (bean counters permitting) - carried out earlier this month ahead of the full demonstration launch later in the fall of the Ares 1X rocket.

Great shot, good time to catch it, too. It's not too early shot and it's not taken too late so that the smoke is almost gone.
