I was in Phoenix taking some computer programming classes and one night after class drove out into the desert to take photos.

Terrific shot, and the play of lights/shadows gives it an almost surreal impact. Great job. :)

Mary's right, surreal is a very good description. I really like this. It's mysterious.

Ah, now that's very close to my location.. about an hour away through traffic ;) I love the desert and living here where I do outside the city I see this type of landscaping all the time, and I gotta say, this does a very great job capturing this unique place that I'm so glad to call home :)

Nice photo, now that I saw these I have to go there myself! I am a mountain freak, I can't get enough of them! And this is a great example of them!!!

Hi Michael,

Nice shot. It has a tapestry look to it. Great place to have a camera from what I have seen.

There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again. (groan)

Speaking as a New Englander, when I go out into this desert it feels like I'm on some other planet. I love it!

Love this. These mountains are dear to my heart. Very nice capture and perfect golden tones of the sunset. :)
