Now that is amazing. I live on the west side of Portland..in the West Hills area...and Ive gone up to the Gorge many times, but NEVER have I got a gorgeous shot like this one. It looks like it was painted! Very lovely indeed!

Overall it's a gorgeous image. What I like in particular is the diagonal banding that's happening. Starting in the distant upper left, the hilly shore runs upward and to the right. Following that is the river, the shoreline, the line of little pastures, another tree line,and finally the wooded hill in the lower right foreground. All these lines leading our eye to that dark and high hill in the upper right. A well-framed photo can do that to the unsuspecting viewer. Beautiful job.

Beautiful, Beautiful shot ----- I live in Calgary, Alberta and it is April 28th and it is still brown and dirty and ugly here -- about the only thing that is green are bits of quack grass coming up !!!!!
