It's in the fall in Yellowstone National Park and the fall flowers are blooming at the base of the ever-encroaching advance of the terrace. In the last 40 years the terrace has advanced 1/2 mile (0.8 Kilometers).

I have never been to Yellowstone. I assume the terrace is a glacier? Lovely capture and great placement of the yellow flowers in the foreground. Well done.

The contrast between the mineral deposits and the landscape makes this a stunning photo. Great job.

I haven't been a member long, but you are one of the better photographers on the site. I love scenery, especially as desktop backgrounds. Keep up the great shots!
