Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.

But words are things, and a small drop of ink, falling, like dew, upon a thought produces that which makes thousands, perhaps millions think and smile.

Hope you had a good pair of sneakers, or running shoes, as we tend to call them up here in Canada...these cats are known for their speed...great capture. : Pat.
here kitty, kitty kitty ;) it sure was a time to leave, heheh :)
what a look in those eyes.. if i had been in your position, i would have been frightened, no matter how far the cheetah was.. :)) but it was worthwile taking shots of this wonderful creature, because it turned out to be a stunning close up! it impressed me the first moment i saw it.. i won't count sheeps anymore when trying to get some sleep.. its spots would do the same job :D there are hundreds of them!
what a beautiful animal.. thank you for sharing this image with us! enjoy your day :)
