This image was taken this spring in the Columbia River National Scenic area, just outside of The Dalles, on the Washington side of the river.

I like how you just got the hint of a horizon there at the top. It adds a lot to the image as opposed to having just the flowers

Nobody does colors quite as good as Mother Nature!! Love the fence in the background...gives a perspective as to the hill that these beauties were growing on! Another good capture from your camera to us! Thank you :))

I thought it was Texas at first - near Austin, in the rolling hills there. I don't remember ever seeing a sight like this near The Dalles as I was growing up there. Beautfiul photo. Thanks for sharing.

Lupine! I've tried unsucessfully to grow them every year. I want to take an acre and turn it into something like this but sticker bushes choke out all my wildflower seed, and I get a thistle patch. How lucky some are to have this view. Thank you.
