This Snowy owl sat patiently for about 5 minutes, much to its credit, before becoming annoyed and flying to another branch about 100 ft away.

this is nearly flawless in my opinion. This owl is beautiful. the offset of the image in the frame also makes it less boring.

I think Snowy owls are the most beautiful of the owl family. I used to see these sitting on the barbed fence wire in Saskatchewan as they waited for a mouse to scury across the snow. What a nice opportunity Mike to have this bird of prey wait for you. Wonderful capture:-)

That's a really beautiful, clear and crisp image, with all the details of this wonderful bird. I like the way you captured the aloof look. And the offcenterd image allows to arrang all the desktop icons in the left, so they will not disturb the picture...

This is wonderful. Such a beautiful and dignified bird. In realtion to this i have an interesting fact.....did you know that owls dont actually go twit twoo? Its actually two owls talking to each other in a polite conversation. One owl goes twit, the other twoo! lol
